Congratulations to Fiona

Congratulations to Fiona

We are very pleased to pass some good news on to you and to congratulate Fiona Perham from our Yacht Team.

Coleman Marine has a long standing association with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and have been the RNLI’s chosen Insurance broker for many Years.

“As of the 1st August I have been accepted to join Poole Lifeboat Station as Trainee Crew! There will be many months of training before going out on the water, and I hope that in time I will progress to be a permanent volunteer Lifeboat Crew for the RNLI. As I live nearby and Quay House being a 30 second stroll to the Poole Lifeboat Station it was an opportunity I couldn’t miss to try and volunteer. It has been a 3 month interview process and this week I officially started, joining 5 other Trainee Crew for this year’s intake”.

The training will take up a lot of Fiona’s free time and once trained she will hopefully join the crew and then be on call. We look forward to progress reports.

As someone who spends a lot of time out on the water I have massive respect for the Lifeboat Crews around our coast line.

Congratulations Fiona we are very pleased to support Fiona and hope this will be the start of a long association with the Poole Lifeboat station.
