A little more information about our bespoke Private Client Yacht Team

Welcome to The Private Client Yacht (PCY) team. We are a specialist team within Coleman Marine Insurance (A Gallagher Company) who arrange insurance solutions for our clients with larger yachts.

Meet the Team

The PCY team consists of Andy Coles and Natasha Ford with over 25 years’ combined experience in the insurance industry and as a two person team we work closely together to look after our clients.

Andy is the Broking Manager who joined the Coleman Marine Team in 2009. He helps our clients with their day to day insurance needs and is the primary contact for new clients.

Having joined Coleman Marine in 2015, Natasha takes care of our existing clients with any mid-term requirements and guides them through the renewal of their policies.

Arranging comprehensive programmes of insurance and keeping up with ever-changing regulation and demands to yacht owners can get complicated. That’s where Andy and Natasha are delighted to use their expertise to obtain terms that offers their client’s peace of mind to enjoy their yacht, knowing they have insurance that meets their needs.

Who are our clients?

We typically look after superyachts or any yacht risk that has more complex requirements. We can assist with both sailing or motor yachts and whether privately registered or used commercially for skipper charter. With a few exceptions, we can look at risks on a worldwide basis, including EEA based and flagged vessels.

In the main, our client’s yachts are valued from 1.5 million upwards to 50 million and include some of world’s top 100 superyachts.

A large number of our clients are Sunseeker owners and we are proud to manage the exclusive Sunseeker Owners’ insurance – Sunseeker Shield, designed specifically for the globally renowned motor yachts.  This is the only insurance product endorsed by Sunseeker International and is one of the most comprehensive policies available to protect Sunseeker owners and their investments.

What insurers do we work with?

As an independent broker, we work with some of the market leading composite insurers and syndicates within Lloyd's of London, to negotiate competitive programs of insurance for our clients.

We have long standing relationships with the insurers we work with and our clients can have confidence that in the unfortunate event that they need to claim, their insurance is placed with reputable insurers with strong financial strength ratings*.

What cover can we arrange?

We arrange customised cover to meet with our clients individual requirements. Some of the covers we can place are:
